About me
Hi I am Erica, a celebrant based in the beautiful town of Whanganui, with well over 10 years’ experience, in Weddings & Civil Unions. I can help make your very special day be whatever you want it to be with a ceremony that is fit for you. This can be a simple ceremony or the full Monty if this is what you wish it to be.
I am so lucky to have been involved in well over 50 ceremonies so far, for close friends, family & total strangers, as this is not my full time job, this is my love job, and each ceremony has its own very special place in my heart. So many happy memories and being invited to be part of a couple’s most intimate and special day still leaves me short of breath at times.
I look forward to hearing from you and sharing your love story.

My wife and I got married in April 2017, and our wedding day was as fun and relaxed as it could have possibly been, and that was in no small part thanks to Erica. We'd met Erica beforehand to decide if she was the right fit for us, and afterwards, we both knew we would like her to be a part of our day. She made us feel at ease straight away, and gave off a friendly but knowledgeable energy that worked so well for us.
We both had little to no idea about wedding planning, so it felt daunting having to organise the logistics of the day, but Erica made us feel so much better about how the ceremony would go, and provided all the information we needed and/or wanted. The day went extremely well, and Erica fit right in with our friends and family.
I would absolutely recommend her to be a part of anyone's wedding day - when I look back on the photos, I am transported back to how much we enjoyed the ceremony, and how emotional it was - and Erica is in the background helping things run smoothly all the way.

Erica was an absolute delight to have as our celebrant! She was so bubbly and fun and truly just felt like part of the family.
The weather poured down on our day and all our plans were flipped sideways up and upside down but Erica took all the changes in her stride with a big smile on her face.
She was so helpful with the planning of our vows and worked with us from a distance as we navigated the tricky job of organizing a wedding which would be held halfway across the county from where we lived.
